The Iron Axe is the iron tier axe, used for chopping trees for Logs.
Iron is the first real step up from bronze. Noticeably faster, and the tier most players spend the longest in.
Crafting one takes Crafting level 6 and gives 46 XP.

The Iron Axe is used for Woodcutting — chopping trees for Logs.
A better tier axe works faster on the same nodes, so upgrade as soon as your Crafting level allows.
